What you’ll make: A long-sleeved baby cardigan (matinee coat style) with an all-over lace pattern, yoke shaping, and a button front.
Sizing/Measurements: To fit chest: 41 cm / 46 cm / 48 cm. Finished length: 23 cm / 25 cm / 28 cm.
Yarn: 4-ply baby yarn, soft wool or wool blend suitable for babies. Amount required: 2 × 100 g balls (all sizes).
Needles & notions: 1 pair 3 mm knitting needles; 1 pair 3.25 mm knitting needles; 1 pair long 3.25 mm needles (for yoke); 4 buttons.
Tension (gauge): 28 stitches and 36 rows to 10 cm over pattern, using 3.25 mm needles.
Recommended yarn: Stylecraft Wondersoft 4 Ply (100 g) — Yarn quantities (100 g balls): 2 (2) (2).
