Yarn: DK / Double Knitting yarn; best results with 100% wool or wool-rich blends for structure and stitch definition.

Needles & notions: 3.75 mm and 4 mm needles; 7 buttons; 1 press stud. Tension (gauge): 11 stitches × 15 rows = 2 inches in stocking stitch on 4 mm needles (22 stitches × 30 rows = 10 cm).
