What you’ll make
A women’s cardigan worked in three sizes, designed to fit busts approximately 76–81 cm, 86–91 cm, 97–102 cm (30–32 in, 34–36 in, 38–40 in).
Finished bust measurements are approximately 102 cm, 112 cm, 122 cm (40 in, 44 in, 48 in), giving around 8–10 in (20–25 cm) of positive ease for a relaxed but structured fit.
Length from shoulder is around 67–70 cm (26½–27½ in) with full-length sleeves (about 46 cm / 18 in sleeve seam).

Yarn
DK (Double Knitting / light worsted) weight yarn in a wool-rich or wool-dominant blend to give good stitch definition for lace, cables and ribs.
Approximate total yarn: 14, 15, 16 × 50 g balls of DK depending on size (around 1800–2100 m / 1970–2300 yds in total, depending on the exact meterage of your chosen yarn).

Tension (gauge)

Construction notes
Worked flat in pieces from the bottom up and seamed for stability.
Back and fronts are knitted in DK with deep ribbed hems, stocking-stitch main fabric and central lace panels framed by cable-and-bobble columns.

Fronts include integrated pocket linings and shaping along the front edges to form a gentle V-neckline.
Sleeves are worked flat in DK with a central lace panel and shaped at the sides, then set into the armholes as classic set-in sleeves.

Front bands and neckband are picked up and worked in rib, with buttonholes set neatly along the right front band.
Pattern uses standard decreases, yarn-over eyelets, simple cable crosses and a small knitted bobble.
