Raglan Sweater with Halo Contrast (DK textures, mohair-rich main)

What you’ll make: A lightweight raglan-sleeve jumper with smooth contrast texture bands and a deep folded neckband; worked flat in pieces and seamed.

Sizing / Measurements: To fit bust 71/76 (81/86, 91/97, 102/107) cm.

Yarn: Main shade (mohair-rich brushed DK or similar halo yarn): 4 (5, 5, 6) × 50 g balls. Contrast shade (smooth DK nylon/microfibre chainette or similar): 3 (3, 4, 4) × 50 g balls.

Needles & notions: 3.75 mm and 5.5 mm needles; stitch holders or waste yarn; tapestry needle.

Tension (gauge): 16 sts × 26 rows = 10 cm over pattern; 16 sts × 20 rows = 10 cm over stocking stitch on 5.5 mm (or to match).

Recommended main yarn: Rowan Kid Classic — 4 (5, 5, 6) × 50 g balls.

Recommended contrast yarn: Sirdar Snuggly DK — 3 (3, 4, 4) × 50 g balls.

Also suitable (currently available): Main (mohair-rich, brushed/halo DK–light aran to match 16 sts/10 cm): Rowan Kid Classic, Katia Ingenua, Sandnes Garn Kos; Contrast (smooth DK for crisp texture): Sirdar Snuggly DK, Stylecraft Special DK, Drops Karisma, Berroco Comfort DK, Cascade Cherub DK.

Construction notes: 1×1 rib hems; body in stocking stitch with contrast texture rows; raglan shaping on all pieces; neckline picked up and worked in rib then folded and stitched down.

Skill level: Adventurous beginner to intermediate (reading multi-size shaping, neckline finishing, blocking a halo fabric).
