What you’ll make: A side-to-side, cuff-to-cuff sweater with a bold cable yoke, soft reversed-stocking-stitch body, shaped waistband, and neat round neck; worked in two harmonious shades for a tonal finish.
Sizing / Measurements: To fit chest 88–92cm (34½–36in); length approx. 71cm (28in).
Yarn: Brushed mohair-blend, Aran/Worsted weight. Approx. 600g total across two shades (about 1,080m at ~90m/50g). Shade A for body, Shade B to finish and mirror shaping.
Needles & notions: 5mm and 6mm needles; cable needle; standard finishing tools.
Tension (gauge): 15 stitches × 18 rows = 10cm over reversed stocking stitch using larger needles.
Recommended yarn: Rowan Kid Classic.

Construction notes: Worked flat in one piece from left cuff to right cuff. Cable panels (20-stitch motif) run across the yoke; sleeve and body shaping built in with increase/decrease rows; waistband shaped with short rows; neck divided at centre and finished, then colours reversed to complete the mirror-image half.
Skill level: Intermediate — comfortable with cables, shaping, and short rows.
