Tension (gauge)

Construction notes

Body is worked flat with a chevron-triangle edging formed first, then joined and continued in established lace/chevron panels. Front is divided for a shaped neck; shoulders are cast off and seamed. Sleeves are worked flat from their own chevron edging, with gentle width increases, then set in and seamed. Neck is finished with a simple round of double crochet [single crochet] and a decorative second round.

Skill level

Intermediate: combines simple lace with decorative hems, basic shaping, finishing, and a short crochet edging.
