A bold, practical rib-textured jacket worked in a chunky/bulky wool for warmth and structure. The fabric has strong stitch definition and a pleasing, raised surface, balanced by a clean raglan shape for comfortable layering. Features include a deep button-front, roomy patch pockets, and a collar that frames the neck neatly while keeping the silhouette simple and wearable. Designed with generous ease for an outer-layer feel, this is a satisfying knit with clear shaping and classic finishing.

Construction notes

The jacket is worked flat in separate pieces (back, two fronts, two sleeves), then seamed. Raglan shaping is formed with cast-offs and paired decreases; a ribbed collar is picked up and worked after the raglan seams are joined. Button bands and pockets are worked separately and sewn on; buttonholes are made in one front band.
