Fisherman’s-Rib Super-Chunky Sweater (7 sizes) — What you’ll make: A cosy, straight-fit jumper in classic fisherman’s rib with a neat crew neck, full-length sleeves, and tidy rib trims.
Sizing / Measurements: To fit bust 81, 86, 91, 97, 102, 107, 112 cm (garment lengths approx. 56–59 cm; sleeve seam approx. 41–44 cm).
Yarn: Super-chunky (super bulky) yarn meeting gauge; approx. 9, 10, 10, 11, 11, 12, 12 × 100 g balls (or equivalent metreage).
Needles & notions: 6.5 mm and 8 mm straight needles; stitch holders; markers; tapestry needle.
Tension (gauge): 10 sts × approx. 10 cm over pattern (5 sts × 5 cm), measured flat after relaxing; adjust needle size to match.
Recommended yarn: Rowan Big Wool (100 g balls) — 9 / 10 / 10 / 11 / 11 / 12 / 12 balls (for bust sizes 81 / 86 / 91 / 97 / 102 / 107 / 112 cm, in order).

Construction notes: Worked flat in pieces from the hem upwards. Ribbed hems, then fisherman’s-rib body and sleeves. Standard armhole and shoulder shaping; neckband picked up and worked in knit-one, purl-one rib; neckband is folded to the inside and stitched down for a clean finish.
Skill level: Confident beginner / Easy—requires cast on, cast off, knit, purl, knit-one-below, simple shaping, picking up stitches, and seaming.
