Women's Long Openwork Waistcoat/Vest Cardigan 1009 - Crochet Pattern PDF - Instant Download - Marle & Row
A long-line crochet waistcoat with matching cap in a bold, open-textured stitch, designed for chunky/bulky wool or wool-dominant yarns. The fabric has drape without losing structure, and the cap echoes the waistcoat’s lace geometry. Sized to fit a 32–36 in bust for the waistcoat (length ~28 in); the cap fits an average adult head. Worked with 7.0 mm and 6.0 mm hooks.
What you’ll make
A vintage-style, long-line crochet waistcoat with matching cap, featuring an airy openwork lace fabric. The waistcoat is worked in three flat pieces (Back, Right Front, Left Front), then seamed; simple edgings are added afterwards. The cap is worked in the round from the crown down.
Sizing/Measurements

Waistcoat pieces are joined at shoulders and sides, then armhole and front/neck edgings are added. Includes a reverse double crochet (crab stitch) style serrated edge option.
