Construction notes
The cardigan is worked flat from the lower edge upwards in separate pieces. Fronts incorporate pockets during construction, with shaping for the front slope and armholes achieved through graduated decreases. Sleeves are worked flat and set in, and the collar is worked from held stitches and grafted for continuity. The design emphasises vertical texture and structural stitch definition typical of classic Aran garments.
