Sizing / fit

To fit bust: 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105 cm (32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42 in).

Finished bust: 95, 103, 107, 113, 117, 121 cm (38, 41, 43, 45, 47, 48½ in).

Length to shoulder: 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75 cm (27½, 28, 28½, 28½, 29, 29½ in).

Sleeve length: 45 cm (17¾ in) across sizes.

Yarn

Aran / Heavy Worsted (Medium/4) wool yarn (choose non-superwash for crisper structure, or superwash/blends for a softer hand and gentler drape).

Needles & notions

4 mm straight needles, 5 mm straight needles, cable needle, stitch markers, stitch holders, 9 buttons.

Tension (gauge)

20 stitches and 28 rows = 10 cm (4 in) measured over rice stitch on 5 mm needles (or size needed to obtain tension).

Recommended yarn: Rowan Pure Wool Superwash Worsted.

Construction notes

Worked flat in pieces: Back, Left Front, Right Front, Sleeves.

Pocket linings are joined as you work the fronts.

Bands are worked and sewn on with buttonholes, then the collar is grown on and folded to the inside for a neat finish.

Block pieces, seam, set sleeves, stitch down collar, finish pockets, sew buttons.
